The Pinnacle of Automation: Fully Automated Decoilers

The fully automated decoiler presents a modern rendition of the traditional hydraulic decoiler, one that is supercharged with an innovative material handling trolley system. This unique feature guarantees a flawless transition of coiled material from the storage area to the expanding and shrinking reel. The exceptional value of this automated decoiler lies within its intelligent processes that automate material loading, feeding, expanding, and unwinding, thus marking it as an indispensable tool for large-scale, weighty coil decoiling operations.

Hydraulic Mastery: Trolley System Construction

The design of the fully automated decoiler is marked by a V-shaped loading surface, which functions as the main carrier. Propelled by a hydraulic motor, the speed of this trolley system is precisely controlled by regulating the hydraulic flow. The trolley’s vertical movement is facilitated by hydraulic cylinders, with the controls simplified to a user-friendly handle-based operation. The control box of the automatic decoiler is impressively fitted with controls governing three main functions: vertical movement, horizontal motion, and expansion or contraction of the material rack.

Understanding the Operations: Coiled Material Handling

During operation, the coiled material is placed on the V-shaped loading platform. Through an easy adjustment of the elevation switch on the decoiler’s trolley handle, the hydraulic valve is triggered to open. This allows hydraulic oil from the pumping station to flow into the rodless cavity of the hydraulic cylinder. This fluid movement encourages the piston rod to move upwards, causing the coil material on the V-shaped loading platform to ascend. Upon reaching its peak, the coil material is perfectly aligned with the band cutting decoiler’s center, prompting the closure of the hydraulic valve and stopping the piston rod’s upward movement.

Advancing the Trolley: Forward and Backward Movement

The next step involves tweaking the forward switch on the trolley handle, prompting the hydraulic motor to initiate a forward rotation of the sprocket shaft. This sturdy sprocket then drives a secondary sprocket to rotate via a connecting chain. The latter prompts one of the rear wheels to rotate while the remaining rear wheel and the two front wheels move correspondingly, driving the decoiler trolley forward along the guide rail. Once it reaches the designated feed position, the coil material is skillfully placed onto the decoiler’s drum that is designed to expand and contract.

The process culminates with the hydraulic motor reversing the motor’s direction, prompting the sprocket shaft and the associated components to reverse their direction. This forces the trolley to retreat along the guide rail. Once the trolley arrives at its starting position, the motor ceases its reverse rotation, setting the stage for the next loading operation. The fully automated decoiler thus offers a seamless, efficient solution, revolutionizing the heavy plate coil decoiling industry.
