Features of the Material End and Tail Cutting Device
The material end and tail cutting device is equipped with a cylinder above and a cutter holder below the cutting mechanism. The main cutting blade is connected to the cutter holder, and an auxiliary cutting blade is also connected to the main cutting blade. The left side of the main cutting blade is equipped with a gear that is connected to the cutter holder with a rack. The right side of the main cutting blade is equipped with a buffer spring that is connected to the cutter holder with a connector. A screw is placed above the connector, and a buffer seat is placed below the buffer spring.
The device’s basic parameters include a cutting material thickness of the same as the actual machine, and no adjustment of the blade clearance is required for materials with a thickness between 1.2mm and 3.2mm. The blade action mode is hydraulic drive, and the blade clearance adjustment mode is manual adjustment, with a dial indicator showing the adjustment amount. The blade action direction is the cutter holder moving downwards to complete the cutting process. The blade material is SKD11, which has a long service life, and the four cutting edges of the blade can be replaced and reused.
