First of all, we have to understand the thickness range of the leveling machine.

Secondly, we must understand the up and down arrangement of the leveling drum of the leveling machine.
The roller arrangement of the precision leveling machine is upper 7 and lower 8, so that the arrangement of the rollers requires the material to enter the leveler, that is, the curvature of the material enters the leveler downward. If the material is fed in the opposite direction, the leveling of the upper drum will not destroy the internal stress of the material and thus cannot level the material.
The drum arrangement of the standard leveling machine is that the upper drum is singular, but there are also leveling machines that are customized for the requirements of stamping products. At this time, the upper feeding material cannot be leveled, so make sure that the leveling The rollers of the leveling machine are arranged, and the material can be leveled by choosing the correct feeding method.
In a word, it is to determine whether the feeding method is top-entry or bottom-entry, which can be confirmed from the discharge port of the leveler. If the outermost roller of the discharge port is the lower roller, the upper-infeed is selected; if the outermost roller of the discharge port is the upper roller, the lower-infeed is selected.
After confirming the above two points, we can enter the step of operating the leveling machine. First, turn the four leveling adjustment handles of the precision leveling machine up until the raw materials can enter.
Then cut the raw material about one meter long into the leveling machine, and then screw the four leveling adjustment handles downwards uniformly, while pulling the raw material until the raw material is difficult to pull, and the corresponding dial indicator will level the four Adjust the adjustment handle to the same scale: Note that the dial indicator must be accurate. If it is inaccurate, pull the four sides of the raw material, confirm that the rollers under the four leveling adjustment handles of the leveling machine press the raw material, and then level it. Turn on the power switch of the electromechanical box, adjust to manual control, press the forward rotation to make the raw materials pass through the leveler, and observe the changes in the radian of the raw materials.
If the radian of the raw material is opposite to that before leveling, it means that the leveling pressure is too high, and the four leveling adjustment handles have been rotated down too much, and they need to be rotated upwards appropriately. If the arc only increases, the leveling pressure is too small, and the four leveling adjustment handles should continue to rotate downward. Repeat this adjustment until the raw material meets the leveling requirements.
In this adjustment process, the operator must be careful and patient. It takes a long time for the adjustment of some materials with high flatness requirements to repeatedly adjust to meet the requirements.
