The three-in-one decoiler straightener feeder is commonly used in the market due to its efficiency in leveling and feeding materials. However, the feeding mechanism of this equipment encounters difficulties in feeding when the coil is thick because of the material’s high elasticity. Leveling Feeding Device
To solve the difficulty in feeding thick coils, a leveling feeding device is installed in front of the leveling and feeding part of the three-in-one decoiler straightener feeder. The device is composed of upper and lower leveling plates, upper and lower leveling oil cylinders, and feeding oil cylinders. When the material is transferred, the lower leveling plate rotates upwardly driven by the lower leveling oil cylinder, while the upper leveling plate rotates downwardly driven by the upper leveling oil cylinder, clamping and leveling the material between the two. Then, the feeding oil cylinder drives the feeding piece that contacts the material to transmit the material backward through the friction force between the feeding piece and the material.
Blocking Wheel Structure
Installing the three-in-one decoiler straightener feeder requires aligning the centerline of the feeder with the centerline of the corresponding punch to ensure accuracy and stability in feeding. However, this alignment is challenging during installation and debugging. To address this issue, two rows of blocking wheels are added behind the installed leveling feeding mechanism, and each row of blocking wheels is adjusted by mutually perpendicular adjustment screws. Compared with the structure with a single adjustment screw, two adjustment screws can make the centerline between the two rows of blocking wheels align with the rear punch.
Material Supporting Plates
The gaps between the rollers of the decoiler straightener feeder are large, and the material may insert into the gaps either upward or downward due to its own characteristics. To avoid this inconvenience, material supporting plates are added between the leveling feeding device and the material leveling mechanism and between the material leveling mechanism and the CNC feeding mechanism, respectively. The material supporting plates support the incoming material and avoid it from falling into the gap between the two rollers. Moreover, the upper surface of the material supporting plate is electroplated to improve its smoothness and avoid scratching the incoming material.
