In the stamping automation production line, the coil feeder machine is usually installed in front of the stamping die. In one movement cycle of stamping, by clamping the feeding roller of the punching material belt and rotating the feeding roller at an angle, the punching material belt will move forward step by step.
However, when stamping a thin strip, the material itself is prone to bending, and it is easy to form an arch in front of the stamping die, which affects the feeding. Therefore, the coil feeder needs to be installed behind the stamping die. The function of this is to pull the stamping material belt to move forward step by step during a movement cycle of stamping. At this time, the coil feeder is also called the coil puller.
However, in some areas where industries are developing, most of the coil puller machines used in stamping production are air feeders.
In order to ensure the size requirements specified in the standard, it is necessary to make tedious adjustments to the punch: first loosen the fixing screws, adjust the cylinder stroke, and then fix the screws. Sample the tape on the punch, then measure the step distance with a measuring tool, measure the actual size with a projector, and find out the error. Then adjust the press punch machine again, repeat this many times, and then fine-tune it by hand, and its accuracy can only reach 0.1mm.
In order to improve the efficiency of the customer’s stamping production line and the quality of stamping products, the air feeder should be replaced with an NC servo feeder immediately. Using the NC servo feeder, it not only simplifies the operation process, but also improves the drawing accuracy to 0.01mm.
The principle of this is that the nc servo feeder is driven by servo to complete the entire action. Through plc, relying on high-precision servo motors, the pulling work becomes simple and accurate. There is no need to repeat the test like the air feeder, just adjust the parameters once to meet the requirements.
The pull-type NC servo feeder is easy and reliable to adjust, eliminating the need for mechanical adjustment, realizing electricity instead of machinery, and simplifying the mechanical structure. In the production process, according to the loaded mold, set the step distance and speed in the touch screen drawing parameters. After setting the belt pulling parameters, the flat belt is positioned through the stopper wheel to pass through the feeding frame of the nc servo feeder, press the start button of the machine table, the machine table starts, and the nc servo feeder reciprocates to complete the pulling action.
