The straightening machine, also called the flattening machine and the leveling machine, is to flatten the uneven metal sheet by pressing the strip or sheet with a certain thickness through the upper and lower rolls to achieve a flattening effect. Known as the leveling machine, it has the following characteristics:

  1. The unloading ability of the coil material cannot produce a good balance piece, but only the leveling material can be leveled to eliminate stress.
  2. After the machine is leveled, the material can be trimmed to bend up or down.
  3. The transmission is controlled by the inverter (circulation control), which can be synchronized with the punching speed and feed smoothly.

Generally, the straightening machine is upper 4 lower 5 or upper 3 lower 4 (the thin plate requires high-speed precision to reach upper 9 lower 10, and special requirements can be added to the flattening rollers). It is equipped with a transfer roller shaft before and after. The upper part has a handle for fine adjustment of the flattening thickness accuracy. The customer chooses the leveling machine to generally select the material thickness (note: when selecting the type, it should refer to the correction ability table), the model function is relatively simple, and everyone is familiar with the relevant selection parameters.

One of the important specs of straightening machine —— Straightening performance.

A certain width material that is leveled to match the thickness of the material as it passes through the leveler. Example: 150mm wide, 2.2mm thick material meets the TL-150 selection requirements, but cannot choose TL-150 models, should choose TL-150A.

We use YASKAWA servo motor for fine tuning, MISTUBISHI PLC and Weinview touching screen. If the customer doesn’t want to adjust the up and down by manual or want more accurate adjustment, then needs to choose to add this fine tuning function on straightening machine.
