The leveling roller shall be kept clean during the use of the leveling machine, otherwise the processed products will leave marks. However, debris or others little stuffs will inevitably enter the upper or lower leveling rollers group during the processing . That will affect the leveling effect on the one hand and hinder the operation of the leveling rollers on the other hand . So it is necessary to clean it in time. The upper and lower rollers groups of the common leveler are fixed after adjusting the set clearance. Therefore, generally the upper and lower rollers cannot be cleaned and maintained, but can only be carried out after dis-assembly of the upper and lower rollers groups . And then installation and adjustment of the gap between them. In this way, the maintenance is very inconvenient and time-consuming, thus increasing the production cost.

In order to improve the quality of the products processed by customers and reduce the production cost, Henli machinery produces an open type precision leveler / straightener. The upper frame (including the upper leveling rollers group and the upper gears transmission group) is hinged on the lower frame, which can be lifted from the lower frame. When the leveling machine is working, the upper frame is set down . The free end of the upper frame is pressed on the lower frame, and then tighten by the locking device. Then the leveling machine operates normally, and the materials are leveled . When it is necessary to clean the interior of the leveling machine, loosen the locking device. Lift the free end of the upper frame, and make the upper frame rotate around the hinge to expose the leveling rollers, so as to facilitate cleaning.

The upper frame of the lift leveling machine is fixed with the vertical sliding rod, and each sliding rod is connected with the horizontal plate through the sliding sleeve and down through the machine platform. A protrusion column is erected in the middle part of the horizontal plate, and a horizontal pin is fixed on the protrusion column.

The bottom end face of the leveler is equipped with a sliding block . The sliding block has a sliding groove with an ascending shape, and the horizontal pin is inserted into the sliding block sliding groove. The left end of the sliding block is pivoted with one end of a connecting rod, the other end of the connecting rod is pivoted with one end of a relay rod, and the other end of the relay rod is pivoted with one end of a handle which can be rotated according to the fulcrum.

If the working position of the upper roller group separated from the lower roller group to set the gap is to be raised, the operator will apply force upward at one end of the handle, then the slider will be pushed to the right through the linkage of the relay rod and the connecting rod. As the following of the chute in the slider moves to the right, the horizontal pin in the slider is forced to rise along the chute from the right horizontal chute , and the horizontal plate linked slider connected with the horizontal pin is raised . The upper base frame fixed with the slider and the upper roller group on it are raised for a distance, and stay in the left horizontal chute for locking. So that the upper and lower rollers groups can obtain enough space for clean and maintain between the rolls . After the treatment, move the handle back down, and make the upper and lower roller groups at the set interval position, ready for leveling operation.
