Upon selecting “automatic,” the PLC control system commands the servo motor to operate, moving the metal sheet towards the shearing machine’s cutting edge. The cutting process is performed, and the system resets for the next cut, repeating until the desired number of cuts is achieved or the remaining sheet metal no longer meets the cutting dimension requirements.
