In the realm of stamping production, the utilization of a decoiler extends beyond merely uncoiling processes under strict quality-control. This machinery’s versatility shines when re-coiling either the final product or the waste materials after the stamping process. Nevertheless, to achieve a clean and compact coil when re-coiling completed products, a tensioning tool is paramount at the decoiler’s forefront.

The material, once it undergoes stamping, first passes through this tensioning device. Once appropriately tensioned, the material gets re-coiled using the decoiler. This strategic configuration safeguards the consistency and quality of the re-coiling process.

Addressing Challenges in Tensioning and Recoiling Decoilers

Standard tensioning and recoiling decoilers often encounter difficulties when dealing with finished copper or aluminum strips. The challenge primarily lies in the small departure angle at which the finished strip leaves the tensioner and enters the decoiler.

This small discrepancy can result in difficulties maintaining a consistent speed between the decoiler’s recoiling and the feed of the tensioner, especially during high-speed recoiling. This inconsistency can lead to vibrations in the finished strips as they exit the tensioner, potentially causing scratches on the recoiling material’s external layer.

Such damage, instigated by friction, can degrade the quality of the finished copper or aluminum strips. Ultimately, it compromises the integrity of the recoiled finished products.

Pioneering a Solution for Recoiling Finished Strips

In response to this predicament, we have meticulously designed a bespoke decoiler tailored explicitly for recoiling such finished strips. Our ground-breaking decoiler includes a coiling guide roller positioned at its apex, thereby solving the issue of surface scratching during the recoiling of copper and aluminum strips fundamentally.

This innovation is instrumental in thwarting product wear and subpar results, thereby promoting superior surface quality and boosting production efficiency.

Enhancing the Quality of Recoiled Strips with Custom Tensioning and Recoiling Decoiler

Our unique tensioning and recoiling decoiler situates the coiling guide roller at the top of the decoiler, seamlessly guiding the finished copper and aluminum strips from the tensioner to the decoiler for recoiling. This approach introduces a larger departure angle from the guide roller to the decoiler’s expanding and contracting coil.

This enhancement eradicates the scratching triggered by the formerly small departure angle, thereby solidifying the quality assurance of the recoiled strips. Through this improvement, our novel decoiler serves as a testament to ingenuity in material processing, reinforcing the integrity and quality of finished products.
