Heavy-duty coil preparation
UL-C 2-in-1 Uncoiler Leveler
Combine decoiling and leveling on one base for 0.5–4.5 mm material. The UL-C range brings pneumatic coil restraint, worm-gear adjustment and VFD leveling speed control into a compact press-line layout.
Why this integrated machine?
Prepare Medium-Thick Coil Beside the Press
UL-C brings coil handling and leveling together for component stamping. Select it when the material requires the UL-C capacity range and the workshop benefits from a shared machine base.
Keep Coil Preparation Compact
The workshop view shows the reel, leveling head and local controls together. Plan coil loading and service clearance around the complete machine.
Arrange the Line Around the Coil
Review the loading side, guide path, leveling-head access and outlet buffer. Machine dimensions alone do not include the whole working area.

Width + Thickness + Strength
Start with the actual grade and yield strength, then find the model with adequate width at the required thickness.
Weight + Inside / Outside Diameter
Match the loaded coil to the selected machine and expansion arrangement. Coil load capacity alone does not define the permitted coil dimensions.
Speed + Buffer + Feeder
Review feed pitch and press speed alongside average strip demand, outlet-loop space and the selected NC feeder.
Coil restraint and leveling control
Machine Features for Medium-Thick Material
The described UL-C configuration uses a pneumatic press arm, a braked non-motorized reel, worm-gear adjustment and a VFD-controlled leveling drive. Each function addresses a different part of material preparation.
Pneumatic Press Arm
The arm helps restrain the outer wraps during coil handling, threading and pay-off. Set it for the actual coil and loading procedure, especially where thicker strip tends to spring back.
Worm-Gear Adjustment
The adjustment mechanism provides mechanical advantage when setting the head under higher leveling loads. Use controlled changes and inspect the outgoing material against the required flatness.
VFD Speed Control
The speed setting adjusts material delivery through the leveling section. Review supply speed with the outlet buffer and feeder demand; feed-length control belongs to the downstream feeder.
Mandrel Expansion and Pay-Off Control
The mandrel grips the coil bore. In the described standard arrangement, the reel is non-motorized and uses an adjustable mechanical brake to help limit overrun as the leveling head draws strip.
Hydraulic Mandrel Expansion
Hydraulic expansion reduces manual effort when gripping and releasing the coil bore. Consider it according to coil weight, inside diameter and changeover frequency, within the selected machine’s load rating.
Adjust, Inspect and Record
Check incoming coil condition, roller cleanliness and strip guidance before production. Record useful settings with grade, width and thickness so repeat jobs have a clear setup reference.
Configuration photographs
Inspect the Frame, Head and Operator Side
These existing machine photographs show different builds and control arrangements. Use them to review access and overall construction; the specification table defines the quoted UL-C model.
Review the Coil and Control Positions
Check the reel, head and cabinet positions against the intended loading direction and available aisle space. Accessories and appearance vary by build.
Keep Controls and Setup Accessible
Plan a clear operating position with access to head adjustment, the coil support and the control cabinet. Confirm the arrangement in the final layout drawing.
Configuration confirmation
Specify the Machine Around the Job
Confirm the UL-C model, coil dimensions and weight, material capacity, site power and selected expansion method. Include the press-side feeder and any control-interface requirements.
For commissioning and routine maintenance, follow the documentation supplied with the actual machine. Stop and isolate the equipment before accessing rollers, gearing or other moving components.
Press-line integration
From Prepared Strip to the Stamping Process
A compact 2-in-1 machine works as part of the complete line. The installation photographs illustrate outlet-loop space, separate feeding equipment and workshop access.
Coordinate the Outlet Loop and Feeder
The line view shows a separate feeder between coil preparation and the press. Review material support and the loop arrangement for the selected thickness and production demand.
Plan Loading and Maintenance Routes
The production-floor view shows why coil supply, press positions and clear working routes must be planned together. Confirm the UL-C layout using the actual site dimensions.
Hinges and Structural Brackets
Review thicker hinge and bracket materials against the capacity table. Check incoming shape and the required flatness for the subsequent forming operation.
Seat Tracks and Support Parts
Select from actual material strength and strip dimensions. High-strength automotive grades require a capacity review beyond the mild-steel reference table.
Mounting and Connection Hardware
An integrated line can prepare coil strip for fittings and supports. Match the model to coil load, permitted strip width and the production layout.
Material and layout review
Confirm the Right UL-C Model for Your Coil
Send the material and production data so HENLI can review width-thickness capacity, coil handling and line integration together.
