PUL series · compact coil preparation
Precision 2-in-1 Decoiler Leveler
Combine coil unwinding and precision leveling in one compact unit to save workshop floor space. Choose Ø20 mm rollers for 0.1–0.6 mm strip or Ø32 mm rollers for 0.3–1.5 mm material, then match the configuration to your feeder and press.
Why combine the two functions?
Precision Leveling in Less Floor Space
A separate decoiler and leveler each require their own installation position. PUL brings both functions onto one base, making coil preparation easier to arrange beside a press line.
Coil Reel and Leveler on One Base
The loaded-coil view shows how the reel and leveling head share the machine body. This arrangement is useful when the press area has limited space.
Guide the Strip from Coil to Leveler
The strip follows the guide path from the coil into the precision leveling head, then forms an outlet loop for the downstream feeder. Loop sensing coordinates material supply.
Roller diameter and material thickness
PUL Model Widths and Roller Configurations
Choose from the regular 200, 300 and 400 mm working-width models. Match roller diameter to material thickness, then confirm the drive and coil-handling specification for the selected width.

Leveling-stage configuration
Pre-Leveling Followed by Fine Leveling
A dual-stage head divides the correction into two successive sections. Select it when the incoming coil curvature benefits from preliminary correction before fine leveling.
Two Sections Along the Material Path
Pre-leveling: the first section reduces the main incoming coil curvature and prepares the strip for the next section.
Fine leveling: the following section applies further controlled alternating bends to refine the outgoing strip condition.
Set the sections for the actual thickness, strength and incoming strip condition, then inspect the result. The photograph shows the dual-stage configuration; its complete roller layout is specified for the ordered machine.
“2-in-1” describes decoiling plus leveling. “Dual-stage” describes the arrangement within the leveling function.
Openable precision leveling head
See and Clean the Roller Surfaces
Easy roller access helps with inspection, cleaning and material changeovers. The supplied photographs show the head closed in production and opened for access to the roll bank.
Access to the Roll Bank and Gears
The raised head exposes the work-roller area and adjacent gear train. Remove accumulated debris from the roller surfaces as part of the machine’s maintenance routine.
Check the Material Contact Surfaces
The open-head view makes the work rollers visible across the strip path. Inspect and clean the contact surfaces before processing material with demanding surface requirements.
Open Head with Dial Indicators
The head opens above the material path for inspection and cleaning. The dial indicators provide a reference for adjustment movement and repeat setup.
Adjustment choices
Standard Four-Point Independent Adjustment
The listed configurations use four-point independent adjustment. Make small changes to the leveling setting and check the outgoing strip against the required result.
Record useful settings with the material grade, thickness and width. A dial indicator shows adjustment position; finished flatness is checked on the material.
Optional for thicker materialFour-Point Worm-Gear Adjustment
The worm-gear mechanism provides greater mechanical advantage for applying leveling pressure and makes adjustment easier when processing thicker material within the chosen machine’s capacity.
Select this upgrade according to the material and adjustment load.
Sensing and gear lubrication
Three Options to Match Your Production Routine
Choose the sensing method and lubrication arrangement for the material and operating schedule. These options are separate from the roller diameter and the four-point adjustment upgrade.
Dual Photoelectric Sensing
Photoelectric sensing is fitted at both the decoiler and beneath the leveler outlet loop. This adds non-contact outlet sensing in place of the standard contact-type arrangement.
Foot-Operated Manual Grease Pump
Press the foot pedal to supply lubricant through connected lines to the gear lubrication points. Regular lubrication helps reduce wear and supports longer gear life.
Fully Automatic Gear Lubrication
The automatic system supplies lubricant to the connected gear lubrication circuit without repeated manual pumping. Check lubricant level and delivery lines as part of routine maintenance.
Photoelectric at Decoiler + Contact at Outlet
The standard machine uses photoelectric sensing for decoiling and contact-type sensing after the leveler discharge. Choose dual photoelectric sensing when non-contact detection is also required at the outlet.
Gears Greased Before Dispatch
The gears are greased before the machine leaves the factory, including machines ordered without the optional manual pump. Follow the machine’s inspection and lubrication schedule during use.
