Compared to pneumatic air feeder machine: air feeder /AF is one of the most easily coil feeder machines, and still widely spread among press workshop. There are some other kind of AF machines, here we only taking the most popular one, driven by air pressure and get singles from punch machine output shaft. AF performances well on regular stamping line, which means no strict accurate standard, feeding speed is steady not fast. Its price is always a can not refuse advantage. But AF has a short life cycle and easy peak out. NC feeder is much more expensive than AF, but its feeding accuracy is really the highest performance among all kinds of feeder machine, and its life cycle is about 10+ years.

Compared to mechanical roller feeder machine: Roller feeder/ RFS has been popular for more than 100 years since the stamping machine appears. It is famous for its high speed. RFS has its running power by a long iron rod connecting between RFS and press machine. So RFS always keep the same space with press stroke, no matter fast or slow. But feeding length of RFS is greatly limited by the rod cycling path. NC Servo feeder is driven by servomotor, so you can easily set feeding length at any length you need.

Model Specifications


Although the NC servo feeder has no feeding restrictions, it can be divided into pneumatic and mechanical relaxation.
The mechanical type relaxes quickly, so the mechanical type should be selected for short-step high-speed feeding.
The pneumatic type is slow to relax, so the pneumatic type is preferred for long-step and low-speed feeding.

The pneumatic NC servo feeder is a loose cam set connected to the punching machine (the traditional punching machine does not have a cam to add a cam plate), and the releasing cam of the punching machine provides a releasing signal to the feeder solenoid valve (the conventional punching machine is equipped with a proximity switch). Controlling the releasing cylinder via the solenoid valve (or proximity switch) to push the upper roller to achieve the releasing action, the releasing action is relatively slow, but the advantage is that it can be matched with various machine tools (including punching machine, shearing machine, hydraulic drawing press, forming machine, laser cutting machine). ), a wide range of applications.

The mechanical NC servo feeder needs to be equipped with a loosening rod device on the punching cam. When the punching press is pressed, the roller is pressed down to loosen the bearing to realize the synchronous releasing of the upper roller of the feeding machine. Since the mechanical NC servo feeder is installed with an auxiliary device on the punch slider, there is a certain limit on the size and model of the matching punch. Thanks to the fast releasing of the mechanical NC servo feeder, it is ideal for short-space, high-speed applications, as well as with traditional punching machines.
