0.3 mm electrical-steel feeding and stamping guide
The 0.3 mm material intent is useful only when coating, strip stiffness, tension, support, die clearance and measured surface/burr results are specified; thickness alone does not select a feeder.
Scope and Evidence Status
This URL is written as a bounded technical decision page for feeding 0.3 mm coated electrical steel for motor laminations. It does not claim a confidential customer result, certified finished product or universal machine capability. Any future case-study statement needs the records listed below.
Application-Specific Process Route
The labeled route below is a conceptual engineering diagram—not a photograph of a delivered project. It makes the current page intent visible without presenting generic equipment images as application proof.
Inputs to Freeze Before Selection
- Certified 0.3 mm nominal material with tolerance and coating
- Strip width, temper/strength, camber and coil set
- Coil/loop geometry, unsupported spans and allowable tension
- Roll/contact material, pressure and cleaning condition
- Die clearance, pilots, pitch, press window and target cycle
- Scratch, dent, burr, pitch and dimensional inspection method

Engineering Decision and Verification Table
| Decision gate | How to verify | Required record |
|---|---|---|
| Material identity | Match certificate and measured thickness to job | Lot record |
| Surface path | Inspect contact zones before/after trial | Marked strip samples |
| Motion/release | Measure pitch and observe pilot correction | Timing and sample record |
| Part quality | Inspect burr and critical geometry by released method | Inspection report |
Page-Specific Method
Work through the four gates below with the production drawing, material and real machine interface. Each gate produces a record that can be independently reviewed instead of relying on a generic industry claim.
Material identity
Match certificate and measured thickness to job Record: Lot record
Surface path
Inspect contact zones before/after trial Record: Marked strip samples
Motion/release
Measure pitch and observe pilot correction Record: Timing and sample record
Part quality
Inspect burr and critical geometry by released method Record: Inspection report
Failure Modes, Stop Conditions and Boundaries
- Thickness-only selection: Reject universal feeder claims based on 0.3 mm alone
- Buckling or stretch: Stop when unsupported strip shape or tension changes
- Coating damage: Contain the lot on repeatable contact marks
Acceptance Record for This Page
Freeze the released drawing and material revision, machine configuration, interface list, recipe, sample plan and measuring method. Record exceptions and the safe restart route. A publishable result must identify the tested configuration; otherwise retain this page as an engineering guide.
